So okay. I didn't really make any resolutions for this year. Basically, I said the "theme" of this year would be "More. Better. Accomplish." I want to do more, I want to do better, and then I can accomplish whatever. One of the things I want to do more is definitely write more. In Xanga, in my LJ, and in my paper journal. (So far, my [personal profile] embodiment project has been going strong!) I also want to read more. I want to read at least 50 new books this year. (And what I mean by 'new' is that I haven't read it before.) So far.. I've got a list of about 26 books. Here they are:
1. Girl With a Pearl Earring- Tracy Chevalier

40. Sophie's Choice- William Styron

46. Chronicles of Prydain- Lloyd Alexander (45 and 46 suggested by Allyson, my roommate)
47. Twilight- Stephenie Meyer
48. New Moon- Stephenie Meyer (47 and 48 I've been wanting to read, but had a brain fart about)
49. The Vampire Lestat- Anne Rice
50. Queen of the Damned- Anne Rice

So now I have 17 6 spots left. Any suggestions? List complete! Thanks to anyone who suggested books. If I finish all these (it's quite a list!), I'll open up suggestions for 10 more.

Here's to a great year.
Until we meet again,

the horse and his boy is delightfully awful, the seriously worst book of the series. Read the rest, skip this one.

Really? I think I'm going to go ahead and read it, because I do want to have all the Narnia books read. But if it's that bad, I doubt I'll read it in the future. (I'll just scribble all over the pages. ^^)

Ah! All The King's Men should've been on my list. My roommate leant it to be back at the end of November.
I've read Memoirs of a Geisha, and oh, how I love it so.
And is the name of the book really "things"?
