Waah, I am emo
Sep. 6th, 2005 11:49 amSo yeah, looking back at my last entry, all I can say is... damn. I am emo. Or at least trying to be.
I was just in that state of mind where I felt extremely pathetic and very depressed. I think its a delayed reaction to the break-up with my best friend. I mean, I don't think it really hit me until I actually got here that, "hey.. I'm not friends with her anymore." I mean, before, I didn't actually see her or be around her, so I was fine. But now, it's like BAM!
I'm also trying to come to terms with the fact that people now think I'm a liar. I'm just going to say this: everybody lies. Little white lies, big lies, ect. I try not to lie, because I have been lied to. It's not fun. I just wish some people would try to hear my side of what happened, before they automatically think that I'm a liar, a betrayer, a bitch, ect., ect. But if they aren't willing to do so, then fine. I don't need them. Their friendship is not necessary, nor desired, if they will just be "friends" with me.
Other than my temporary lapse into depression, my weekend was relatively good. Started off with going out to eat with Antwan, then we sat in his car for awhile, just listening to Opie & Anthony rant about the situation in New Orleans and how it was handled. Some assholes tried to call in and defend the government, while also insulting O&A, and they just blasted 'em back. 'Twas hilarious. After some time, I decided to go back into Steen, and discovered some people were playing DDR. They only had one pad, so I brought both of mine downstairs, plus DDRMax:2. We probably played till about.. 3 am. Felt REALLY good. I'm actually starting to get some of my skillz back. Awesomeness.
Saturday, I woke up and went off to work, came back to the room to hang out for awhile, then went BACK to work. I worked from 8 to 10, and after that I wasn't really in a mood to go out, so I just stayed in and did my laundry. I got a very drunken call from Antwan around 2 am.. very interesting. (Idiot..)
Woke up early to go into work again, and after I got off, Shawna and Dennis arrived to take me out to lunch at Bullfrogs. They have really good fries. After that, Shawna and I dropped Dennis off at their hotel, and she and I went to Wal-mart. I picked up a couple of groceries to save me the trip of having to go later, and she paid for them. Yay for aunties! We also stopped by Varsity and Kampus, to see if they had some sort of water jug for Shawna. While at Varsity, I saw they had these boxes of stuff with Stewie decorated all over them. They were free little "Campus Kits", and they had one for boys (Stewie) and one for girls (Just like Heaven movie). I picked up one of each. I got a razor and some Tag body spray (which I will be using as air freshener, because it smells so damn good), and then some body wash and shampoo samples. I did get a thing of ramen, but I gave that to my roommate. I'm keeping the boxes, just cuase Stewie is infinetely awesome. After that, I ran up my groceries (some of them needed to go into the fridge), and we went to Hancock Fabrics to get some yarn for my Hufflepuff scarf. They didn't have much of a selection, and me being a doofus, I thought Hufflepuff colors were yellow and dark blue. (Yellow and black, actually.) So we were going to go to Hobby Lobby, but we remembered they're closed on Sundays. After that, Shawna dropped me off, and Lauren, Alyson, and I went out to eat at Rita's for Alyson's birthday. While there, we decided that we would all go in and try to live in the new residence hall in a 4 bedroom unit. It'll be quite awesome. Afterwards, I had to head back and get off to work.
Got off work, hung out, and watched some Adult Swim. Yesterday, my aunt came and picked me up, and we got the yarn from Hobby Lobby. She's going to start on it soon. Hopefully. We went to eat at IHOP, which was packed and I learned that Dennis is going to New Orleans. He's gotta help protect the federal buildings. He said that if I see any news reports of looters getting "picked off" near the federal buildings, that was him. Hehe.. afterwards, they dropped me off and they went on their way. I pretty much chilled all day in my room, watching Law & Order: SVU, while avoiding homework. I went to work from 10 to midnight and worked on homework while watching Adult Swim. Afterwards, came back to my room and got ready for school.
Tonight is the first meeting of the anime club! I'm sooo excited. This is like the only thing getting me through the day, is the thought of anime club. I can't waiiiiiit. I'm going to be dragging Antwan along, and hopefully, no one will run against me for VP. Because I like my position of power. POWER!
Anywho, it's about time for me to head to my Economics class.
