FLCL is like.. crazy. I feel like I have to smoke something in order to understand just what the HELL is going. It's like crack for the eyes. Chelle's gonna let me borrow the subtitled version, so maybe I'll understand it a little better. I doubt it though.
Tonight, they mentioned Excel Saga as maybe the craziest anime. Maybe they'll show it too, but I'd rather see it subtitled, because.. yeah.. some stuff is just better subtitled.
Today, we took flags out during outside drills. It was a good thing I ate some fruit loops before I left. Otherwise.. I would've passed out. We were doing our routine while the band worked on marching with instruments. I was feeling really badly, but once I drank more water and took some deep breaths, I felt a lot better. But.. after outside practice, one of the girls, Marcia, handed her flag to Elizabeth (the twirler), and said "I quit.", and just walked home. That made me feel bad, because I really didn't expect her to do that. Mr. Works told us that he's hard on us because he wants us to be the best. And I really do believe that. He's a GREAT teacher, and even though he yells at me, I know that he's doing it because he wants us to be the best. If he says anything negative to me, I make sure I do it right next time, because he gets scary sometimes!
But in spite of all that, I'm loving being in guard. It's great. Everyone in there is hilarious, and I just have a great time, even while working. My muscles hurt, but I don';t care because, I'm having so much fun. I can't believe I didn't join it before! I feel like I fit it a lot more in guard than in band. I can't wait till marching season ^_^!!
