First Day of Band Camp / Registration
Aug. 4th, 2003 12:49 pmYes. Today is my first day of band camp. JOY. Today is ALSO.. registration for all of the seniors. ANOTHER JOY. So yes. Supposedly, our colorguard instructor was supposed to escort us to the front of the line at 10. Well, Melanie and I, and two other seniors go up to the band hall, and then we realize.. WHERE ARE ALL THE OTHER SENIORS?! Not there. THEY went to registration. So, Melanie and I and the two other girls head over to the thingy, get our packet and start filling crap out. I had to call my dad up to the school to get a few things signed and also to get my grandma's phone number. We waited a longggggggg time. Melanie and I got spaces next to each other. Mwahahahaha. Cuz we're cool like that. We also have colorguard and computer programming together. Well, computer programming for one semester. I don't have my schedule with me, so I'll have to get it when I come home around 4.
Band camp has been really easy so far. Melanie and I were able to skip the first part of the outside stuff, so we came back and the rest of the guard was putting new flags on. We've been working on the 27 points. It's hard. And then we worked on keeping our drop spins together. I don't know what we're going to do later on. Cuz I know we have "sectionals" from 1:30 to 2:30 (I think..) and then the rest of the time is spent on the show music and from 3:15 to 4, we do stand tunes. I think.
I have to go to the store after practice, because all we have for me to eat is HOT LINKS. And hot links will make me sick, so I'm gonna get some bologna, and maybe some turkey. Yum. And I definetely need to get some mustard. And some chips, to munch on. And then I have to get Pepsi One for my mom. (She practically lives on Pepsi One).
After I get all that done.. I have to fold clothes. Then take a shower.. and maybe take a nap. And then take Amy up to karate. And find time to update everyone on my schedule.
Cedar Hill peeps, lemmie know your lunches. I hope some of us get to eat together!!
