War is here.
Mar. 19th, 2003 09:00 amLooks like we're going to war pretty soon. Frankly, I think war is inevitable. Sooner or later, we would've had to do something about Hussein. It just so happens that it's sooner, I guess. My friend David said that Saddam had issued a statement last night saying that if Bush doesn't call off the attack, then he'd be committing genocide on all of us. He also said that he had 30 to 50 thousand biological weapons, which is a really scary thought. War has definetely changed from what it once was. It's not just guns, and men fighting, and things like that. It's nuclear bombs, computer guided missiles, biological weapons.. For some reason, I think Texas would definetely be a target. Just because of the fact that Bush was our governor, and when you're in a fight, you hit them where it hurts. I'm being kinda morbid, I'm sure.. but that's what I think. I found out that my cousin has been assigned to a driver, and so he goes where the driver person goes. So I'm thinking.. well, let's hope the driver stays out of Iraq! Heh..
Anywho.. besides pondering about the threat of war, school has pretty much been the thing going on right now. I'm still working on my research project, and in history, we're going really fast in order to get ready for the AP test. And that's pretty much it, really.
I've been watching RK. I have to say it's pretty good, although Kaoru's voice annoys the hell out of me. I'm kinda upset that they cut out the whole "oro" thing, but hey, I'm poor right now, so I'll take what I can get. After A-kon, and my "connection" gets the missing episodes, I think I'll order RK and watch all of it. Same thing with Inu-Yasha. I miss that show. Trigun is going to be joining the line-up pretty soon too, and I hope they won't cut out too much. Vash is too funny to have things cut out ;.;!!
Anywhos.. last night, I tutored my neighbor, then watched Toonami, then went to sleep around 6. I slept until 8:30, and then finally I woke up. I finished up some h/w and printed out some notes for History, then fixed me some soup while cleaning the kitchen. My mom was folding up some blankets, and Lilo was jumping at her, so my mom said in this funny voice (think Kathy Bates from The Waterboy) "YOU ARE THE DEVIL!" OMG, it was so funny. I was also watching the end of LoTR and my dad came in and it was at the very end with Sam and Frodo, and when Frodo said "Sam" and turned around, my dad goes "Take my hand, Sam." I was cracking up, because I was thinking of the whole "I'm gonna tap that ass" thing. And THEN, I thought of how Sam is always behind Frodo and I was off again. I was in a silly mood.
I'm like.. super tired right now, and I'm pretty sure the bell is about to ring, so I must be off. Laterz ya'll!
