Damn Texas weather.
Jul. 22nd, 2005 04:44 pmI think this is the.. like.. 7th time it has rained within the last week and a half. It's insanity, I tell you. And every time it starts raining, it goes from the shop over to my house and onward. Stupid crazy Texas weather!
Anywho.. as you can tell, I've returned from NYC. I would regail you all with tales of my adventures, but I already did it in my xanga, so I'll just link you guys to here and here. Just a few highlights for you all:
-Chinatown makes me nervous. But I got an authentic Coach bag!
-Saw Hairspray. LOVED it! Got autographs of most of the main cast, and pictures with some of 'em too!
-My sister found the Balto statue in Central Park. That made her trip.
-New York in general, is awesome. I would like to live there someday, but I don't think I could keep up. Dallas is at the pace that I like to be.
In other news, I bought myself a swishy peasant skirt and a copy of Bride and Prejudice. Good times, good times.
And of course.. Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince. I could rant all day and all night about that book, but I won't because everyone else has. And I have Goblet of Fire to read anyway.
Uhmmmmmmm.. besides bouts of feeling eternally pathetic and rather satisfied with life, I've been okay. Yep, yep. Only one month left until I go back to school. Fun.
Well.. back to work.
Until we meet again,
Tahiti
